Our Staff ...
Think about this, all animals including us need to eat.  Wouldn't it be wonderful if someone was willing to help you pay part of the cost of feeding your pet as well as pay for part of your pet's veterinary care?  If this interests you, our Pet Food Club is the answer.

Here's all you need to do.  Fill out this form and make your initial purchase and will help you set up a schedule so we have your pet's food available when your next purchase is needed.

Once your membership is set up, your pet gets a high density fixed formula diet at a reduced price as well as having us provide a portion of your pet's veterinary care.

The reason we are willing to do this is that by following what your pet is eating and how much they are eating, we can track their general health.  If you need food early or late compared to the regular schedule, something may be developing in your pet.  The sooner we identify the problem the sooner we can get your pet back on track and keep them healthy for as long as possible.

IVD is our preferred food because it is made with human grade components (we can eat it).  It has no chemical preservatives.  It is preserved with Vitamins C & E and Rosemary.  It has the essential fatty acids they need for their coat, general dell health and clotting capabilities.  It has chelated minerals for more rapid absorption by the body.  Hills Prescription diet can also qualify for the program.

There is NO COST TO JOIN!  Just DOWNLOAD and fill out this form then, bring it with you on your next visit, give it to the receptionist and we will set you up on a schedule.

  The Doctor's Corner ...
What is Hyperthyroidism?

Older cats (15 is the average age) often develop a benign growth in one of both thyroid glands, resulting in excessive hormone production. The thyroid glands sit above the voice box and are generally not palpable. When hyperthyroidism develops, that generally become palpable. Their normal function is to produce hormones that control the body's metabolism (e.g., how fast food calories are burned, how much inhaled oxygen is used and how fast the heart beats). In other words, how much thyroid hormone is being produced will determine how fast your cat's "engine is revving."
